August 10, 2022 – Lemonade, a Corporate-Incubated Company (CIC) of Day1 Company, has announced the launch of its premium foreign language learning program, Master Pack.
Lemonade CIC oversees foreign language learning within Day1 Company and operates Light Workbook, a foreign language learning service for adults. Light Workbook has been well-received by offering a low-pressure learning method of “one book per week, 10 minutes a day,” and now boasts 350,000 subscribers.
The newly introduced Master Pack provides high-quality online lectures taught by experienced language specialists, each with an average of over 10 years in the field. The program incorporates memory techniques utilizing visuals, colors, and rhythm to ensure long-lasting retention. Top industry experts like Misook Nam, head of Misook Nam’s Chinese Academy, Seongsik Chae, and Shogo Sugimoto were involved in the program’s review and development.
Recognizing the importance of consistency in language learning, Master Pack is designed to make learning a habit. It incorporates elements that spark interest, provide manageable content, offer a sense of efficacy, and reward leveling up, ensuring learners can progress effectively. The structured weekly curriculum, four-stage review system, video content to reinforce speaking skills, and weekly workbooks all help create an optimized learning experience.
The Master Pack covers reading, writing, listening, and speaking, assigning the best experts for each level, from beginner to advanced. Influencers, TikTok creators, and model instructors have been recruited to make the online lectures engaging and fun to watch. Notable instructors include top English educators like Hyunro Lee, the No. 1 Etoos on-site instructor for English exams, and Hyeyeon Joo, the No. 1 EBS English instructor for six consecutive years. For Japanese, Hyeongjin Ahn from YBM and Darakwon leads the way, while Seohyun Kim, a 15-year veteran, and Chayeong Jeong, a former interpreter and Paris III University graduate, cover French.
One of Master Pack’s standout features is its natural memorization techniques, such as Picture Learning, which teaches vocabulary through illustrated images, Color Learning, where learners engage with content by drawing along, and Rhythm Learning, where difficult-to-memorize words are paired with beats, making learning both fun and effective.
Tina Tsu, CEO of Lemonade CIC, shared, “Master Pack represents a new product developed after extensive research with numerous experts, offering an unmatched quality and effectiveness in foreign language education in Korea. We hope that this Master Package will inspire more adults to experience the joy of learning a foreign language and start connecting with the world.”.
