October 19, 2021 – Day1Company’s FastCampus CIC, a leading provider of adult education content, announced the launch of the ‘2021 Self-Development Awards’ on October 19. The awards aim to recognize and encourage adults who have challenged themselves through self-development, regardless of success or failure.

FastCampus CIC, a subsidiary of Day1Company (CEO Kangmin Lee), provides practical education content for professionals and B2B corporate training. With high-quality educational offerings tailored to current trends, FastCampus CIC has significantly contributed to the growth of both the adult education market and Day1Company.

With the prolonged impact of COVID-19 leading to increased job insecurity, a wave of self-development has surged. Adult education content focused on career advancement and skill improvement is gaining more attention than ever. FastCampus CIC has organized this event to support those pursuing personal growth, celebrating their challenges and reflecting on the broader meaning of self-development through shared stories.

The ‘Self-Development Awards’ is open to any adult aged 19 and older who has experience with self-development. Participants do not need to have taken a FastCampus course or be a member. Applications are simple and can be completed on the FastCampus website. Applicants are encouraged to freely share their stories about successes and failures related to job seeking, career transitions, freelancing, and multi-job experiences in a brief written format.

Eleven finalists will be selected, with the following prizes awarded:
– 1st place: 30 million KRW (1 person)
– 2nd place: 15 million KRW (2 people)
– 3rd place: 5 million KRW (8 people)
A total of 100 million KRW will be awarded. Internal judges will select the top 11 participants, and their rankings will be determined by the number of views on video content created based on their experiences. All participants will receive a FastCampus course discount coupon.

Haedong Shin, CEO of FastCampus CIC, stated, “In line with Day1Company and FastCampus CIC’s vision that education can change lives, we believe that the ‘challenge’ of pursuing self-development is meaningful in itself. We hope that this ‘Self-Development Awards’ encourages many people setting new goals for the year-end season to resonate with the importance of self-development and find support in achieving their objectives.”
