Day1Company Launches ‘Creator,’ a Stock Platform for Content Creators
– Designed to address the inconveniences of overseas-based stock platforms
– Features high-quality stock videos and design assets tailored to domestic creators’ needs
– A platform for professional content creators and solo creators to freely express creativity and enjoy content creation
September 23, 2021 – Day1Company (formerly FastCampus, CEO Kangmin Lee), a leading provider of adult education content in South Korea, announced the launch of ‘Creator,’ a stock platform designed specifically for content creators.
‘Creator’ offers a comprehensive range of sources, including videos, images, templates, and audio, all essential for creators’ projects. Recognizing the difficulties domestic creators face when using foreign stock services, Day1Company designed this platform to better align with Korean creators’ preferences and usability.
Stock platforms are marketplaces where creators can pay for sources, such as images, videos, and design elements, to use commercially. However, most existing platforms are based overseas, leading to a lack of locally relevant content, such as Korean imagery and designs. As a result, domestic creators often have no choice but to use foreign stock images and designs that may not suit their needs.
‘Creator’ addresses these challenges by offering a variety of content tailored to the needs of Korean creators. It provides easy-to-understand Korean guides and simplifies the licensing process. Instead of complex licensing schemes, all assets are ‘license-free,’ meaning users can freely utilize them without restrictions upon purchase.
Currently, the platform offers high-quality stock footage created with cinema cameras, minimalist infographics, motion templates, and 3D assets. ‘Creator’ also plans to expand its offerings to include more stock videos that capture the essence of Korean culture and audio tracks, aiming to become the go-to stock platform for content creators.
Seungmin Kim, the leader of C-Lab, which spearheaded the launch of ‘Creator,’ stated, “Content creation has evolved beyond a professional domain; it is now a means of self-expression, a new economic tool, and a way to realize dreams. As Day1Company has led the way in providing practical education that meets professionals’ needs, we hope to support creators in the one-person creator era by making it easier for them to express their imagination and enjoy creating content.”
To celebrate the launch of ‘Creator,’ the platform is offering a 50% discount on first purchases to new members who sign up by September 30.
