Day1Company Led by CEO Kangmin Lee Named ‘World’s Top EdTech’ by TIME

Ranked No.1 Among Korean EdTech Companies

May 1, 2024 – Day1Company, a leading South Korean adult education startup led by CEO Kangmin Lee (pictured), has been selected by TIME magazine as one of the “World’s Top EdTech Companies of 2024.”

This is the first year TIME has released its ranking of the world’s best EdTech companies, in collaboration with Statista, a global research firm based in Germany. The evaluation considered approximately 7,000 EdTech companies worldwide, assessing them on a variety of criteria including intellectual property (IP) value, service quality, financial health, and industry influence. After a thorough review process, the top 250 companies with the highest scores were selected.


Day1Company secured the 62nd position in the rankings, the highest among Korean companies. CEO Kangmin Lee commented, “This recognition places Day1Company alongside global educational leaders, highlighting both our expertise and growth potential. We plan to accelerate our global expansion by leveraging AI technology to produce premium content and drive sustained high growth.”
