FastCampus Selected as an Institution for the Ministry of Employment and Labor’s ‘K-Digital Training and Credit’ Programs
FastCampus, a leading adult education content provider in South Korea (CEO Kangmin Lee), announced on the 26th that it has been selected as an institution for the Ministry of Employment and Labor’s ‘K-Digital Training’ and ‘K-Digital Credit’ programs. These initiatives are part of the government’s Korean New Deal policy, aimed at providing educational opportunities for digital job training and fostering practical talent in the digital sector.
The ‘K-Digital Training and Credit’ programs offer free education for those seeking employment in digital fields. Anyone with or eligible for the ‘My Work Card’ (내일배움카드) can apply, and the government covers the full cost of the training.
While many educational institutions were selected for either the ‘K-Digital Training’ or ‘K-Digital Credit’ programs, FastCampus was selected for both, demonstrating its exceptional educational capabilities.
In these programs, FastCampus aims to nurture practical talent in emerging digital technologies through industry-connected curricula and learner-centered practical education. The institution will offer a total of 10 courses. Under ‘K-Digital Training,’ courses will focus on key areas such as big data, AI, fintech backend, and fintech frontend. For ‘K-Digital Credit,’ 6 courses in big data and programming have been selected.
In addition to the core education, FastCampus will provide various employment-linked programs, including resume workshops, personalized career consultations, and mock interviews. To further enhance job support, FastCampus plans to offer participants unlimited access to its entire catalog of online courses, valued at over 11 million KRW.
CEO Kangmin Lee expressed his sense of responsibility, stating, “We feel a strong sense of responsibility in participating in this key national policy initiative to nurture digital talent. We are committed to helping job seekers succeed through up-to-date digital skills training, and we will continue to strive to develop top-tier professionals in the increasingly crucial digital field.”
Prior to this initiative, FastCampus had also been selected for other significant programs, such as Seoul’s ‘Youth Internship Job Camp’ and the ‘Export Voucher Program’ led by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy, further solidifying its reputation as a leading professional training institution in South Korea.
