FastCampus Opens Recruitment for the 2nd ‘Naver, Kakao, Coupang, Baemin Developer Training Program’
FastCampus, a leading adult education content provider in Korea (CEO Kangmin Lee), has announced the recruitment for the 2nd session of its “Naver, Kakao, Coupang, Baemin Frontend Developer Employment School.” This coding bootcamp-style, full-time educational program was designed this year to support aspiring developers and aims to help participants secure jobs at top tech companies often referred to as “Nae-Ka-Ra-Ku-Bae” (Naver, Kakao, Line, Coupang, and Baemin).
The program provides intensive developer training focused on practical skills and job preparation, targeting employment at these highly sought-after companies. Remarkably, it is offered free of charge to participants.
In January, the first session of the “Nae-Ka-Ra-Ku-Bae Frontend Developer Employment School” received an overwhelming response with 4,185 applicants competing for just 15 spots, resulting in a competition rate of 279:1. The surge in demand for developers, as companies offer high salaries and attractive benefits, is seen as a major factor driving this high interest, and the trend is expected to continue.
Due to the popularity of the first session, FastCampus has increased the number of participants for the second session to 20. Additionally, applicants can now take the first-round competency test regardless of their status in the initial document review, allowing more candidates to experience the test. FastCampus will also provide free access to paid lectures on HTML/CSS for all applicants to help them prepare.
FastCampus, which offers systematic practical education in areas such as data science, programming, marketing, creative, finance, business, and foreign languages, is the only institution in Korea to provide comprehensive adult vocational training across all fields. For every course, including the “Nae-Ka-Ra-Ku-Bae Developer Employment Program,” FastCampus ensures that the product managers involved in planning each program—who are experts in their respective fields—meticulously oversee every aspect, from instructor selection to curriculum development, focusing on real-world skills.
The “Nae-Ka-Ra-Ku-Bae Developer Employment Program” will feature an expert teaching staff, all with over 10 years of experience in frontend development, and current or former developers from the target companies serving as mentors. These mentors will support students throughout the 6-month program, helping them prepare for employment.
Kangmin Lee, CEO of FastCampus, stated, “The ‘Nae-Ka-Ra-Ku-Bae Developer Employment Program’ is a project designed to support job seekers with no strings attached, leveraging the coding education expertise and outstanding teaching staff FastCampus has built over the past seven years. As Korea’s leading adult vocational training provider, we will continue to develop excellent educational programs that provide practical help to both job seekers and professionals alike.”
